Nathaniel Peat is an academic and successful entrepreneur, pilot, musician, martial arts expert and public speaker with an insatiable appetite for success. In 1997 Nathaniel embarked on his journey with a BEng (hons) Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics (Brunel University) he then went on to study for his Master of Science degree in Advanced Systems Engineering. During his years at university, Nathaniel’s personal interests encouraged his proactive involvement in several organisations. Nathaniel’s strong entrepreneurial nature soon led him to be dubbed the ‘young black Richard Branson’. In his 29 years he has already achieved more than most have in a lifetime. From a young age his passion for both music and martial arts have seen him professionally exceed in both these areas.

As a highly acclaimed musician Nathaniel has performed at many prestigious concerts worldwide and is constantly inundated with bookings for private functions. Following his membership of Haringey Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra (1994-1997) Nathaniel decided to share his passion for playing music through one-to-one private tuition of the saxophone and violin respectively whilst at University where he was awarded a music bursary for his contribution to music.

With over 20 years experience in martial arts, Nathaniel (who has achieved sensei status - (Japanese title meaning “honourable, accomplished teacher”) holds the rank of 4th Dan (degree) Black Belt in Karate and is a well respected instructor and coach. His solid knowledge in authentic martial arts extends several disciplines including Karate, Ju-Jitsu and Kobudo (weapons). Currently the Vice President of Yudansha Kobujitsu Karatedoh Federation (United Kingdom), to date Peat Sensei has coached students up to National level helping them to achieve various national titles.
Equipped with this strict discipline, Nathaniel has used his martial arts training as the backbone to his company, The Safety Box. In his mission to make a difference in society, The Safety Box seeks to encourage and develop youngsters into achieving and bettering themselves through a wide range of interpersonal courses. Specifically tailored in line with the national curriculum the courses are taught through PSHE classes in schools in and around the capital, dealing with conflict resolution, anti-social behaviour, confidence building and personal safety. Recently Nathaniel has been publicly accredited for his hard work at 2007/08 nationwide Enterprising Young Brits Awards (Make Your Mark).

Nathaniel scooped two awards, beating 20 strong finalists, including the people’s Choice Award presented by Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Following the success of his many ventures (thus far) Nathaniel continues to pursue his goals and has since launched 2 more businesses the first being Creative Well Being International which is about bringing all aspects of feeling good, feeling inspired, being healthy and looking beautiful under one umbrella – it is a holistic approach to feeling good. The second being Focus Vue Imaging, which supply and produce perforated pressure sensitive window vinyl film for see-through window graphics. The film is perforated over 50% of its surface to achieve a one way visibility used for advertising.
Nathaniel in his short time has already had numerous UK Television appearances covering every major UK TV channel these include interviews for BBC 1, ITV, GMTV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky 1. He has also contributed to short documentaries relating to youth violence.

In July 2008 Nathaniel shared the stage as a co-presenter along with Dame Kelly Holmes at the Royal Albert Hall where he helped to present the BIC Awards at this prestigious awards ceremony. In January 2009 the Observer listed Nathaniel as a entrepreneur to watch and was drafted into the Elite and exclusive ‘Courvoisier Future 500.’

Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Former Chancellor Alistair DarlingNathaniel in his short time has already had numerous UK Television and Radio appearances covering every major UK TV channel these include: BBC 1, ITV, GMTV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky 1. He has also contributed to documentaries relating to youth violence for Sky, Channel 4 and the BBC. His television appearances have not been limited to the UK and in August 2009 Nathaniel appeared on TV Jamaica,  Jamaica's main television channel speaking on a special business program.
The beginning of 2008 saw Nathaniel’s longest TV appearances, he was hunted down by the BBC to appear on an entrepreneur based BBC reality program called The Last Millionaire. Here he faced the ultimate business challenge; to make money from scratch in another country in just 5 days. To make it even tougher, instead of five star accommodation Nathaniel stayed in backpacker hostels and survived on a limited budget for food and drink. Nathaniel proved his entrepreneurial skills once again where he won after starting a business from scratch in Cairo, Egypt beating fellow entrepreneurs that failed to make a substantial enough profit to win a place back home.

August 2009 saw Nathaniel travel to Jamaica where he spoke and was an ambassador at Jamaica's first Youth Diaspora conference, at this conference he also represented as a UK ambassador for the 2009 Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The conference gained national TV exposure, inclusion into the national radio programs and featured in all national newspapers. During his visit he met the Prime Minister of Jamaica Portia Simpson-Miller and former Prime Minister Bruce Golding, the Governor General, the minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, amongst other senior politicians and influential business people.
In 2010 Nathaniel represented Great Britain as a youth delegate for the G20 Toronto young entrepreneurs summit 2010. Whilst he was there he contributed in exchanging ideas and establishing international networks and partnerships that would help drive sustainable global economic growth. The discussion points from the G20 YES were drafted into a communiqué document that was handed over to the B20 and G20 leaders.
January 2011 saw Nathaniel entered into THE POWERLIST 2011, the only magazine that celebrates and highlights the most influential black people in Britain, Nathaniel was entered into the under 40's section. 



In July 2011 Nathaniel received the Brunel University Alumnus of the year for outstanding achievement which was awarded by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Chris Jenks at the graduation ceromony of the Department of Engineering.

In 2012 Nathaniel was instrumental in assisting the Diana Award to expand internationally into Jamaica , former 100m world record holder Asafa Powell became the first International Diana Award Ambassador. On the visit he met with the Governor General, Sir Patrick AllenON, GCMG, CD, British High Commissioner to Jamaica Howard Drake OBE and the Jamaican Gov.
